OUR NEW COMMUNICATIONS CONDUIT

Posted on 19 November 2016

‘Activity on our website has increased recently with our decision to become involved in the strategic future of Cornwall’s healthcare and we need a more robust site if we are to act a communications conduit”, said Tim Guy, Webmaster, 2015

With more public facing programmes planned in the near future the charity had to make use of changing technology to ensure that our message became more engaging and easier to access. After a process of tendering with four Cornwall agencies, 8-Wire of Penryn won the commission to design and programme the new site.

Tim says, ‘’We wanted to go live before the first of three important events this autumn that are seen to be key to the success of Cornwall’s NHS Integrated Health Initiative.

Following our breakfast seminars (see news entitled ‘Brainy Breakfasts’) we will be publishing the outcome in January 2017 and plan to begin a public engagement programme.

Adam Rush of Eight Wire says, “It has been a joy to work with the Duchy Health Charity Board of Trustees on this project. We really wanted to showcase the fantastic work that funded projects are doing while making it very easy to apply for funding via an online portal. By working collaboratively with the Duchy Health Charity we have hit project objectives and look forward to working with the team long into the future.

“Tell us what you think of the site and what improvements we might still make.
